| ESSAY/SPEECH SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST Open to any Hanover County Senior High School Student Members of the Mechanicsville Lions Club are passionate about our youth. We are also passionate about "serving our community". The club offers a contest to all Mechanicsville graduating seniors, regardless of grade or choice of higher education, the opportunity to compete for scholarships to advance their education.
